Arenoso: Surprise #fmsphotoaday #fms_surprise #fmspad #september #septiembre #2017 Last night we were under red hurricane alert, prepared, bracing for impact, expecting the worse and hoping for the best. Surprise! At the last moment #Irma turned and didn't hit us at full strength. It barely rained in Santo Domingo and the breeze, although strong at times, was moderate at most. Other coastal cities on the island such as Samaná and Puerto Plata felt it stronger than we did and other islands in the Caribbean felt Irma's fury and are seriously damaged. Antigua and Barbuda are in catastrophic state, Puerto Rico was also battered but not as much as the other islands. We must be thankful that we were spared. Now we have to wait and see where José is going. Life in the Caribbean.
