Today I had some errands to run to fix something pertaining her birth certificate. This entailed traveling to her hometown and to other places and she asked if she could tag along. Mom is a talker so she spent the whole day telling me stories about her youth. We even visited her dad’s old ranch, where she got engaged to dad. The reason for our faces in this photo is that they reflect our reaction to watching a video of my brother, who is currently on vacation in Asia, eating a HUGE fried spider, but that’s a whole other story.
